favorite local musicians, John Hodge - lead vocalist of metal cover
band Crush Point. He shares his story of how he went from sax
player to screamer and how he answered an ad for lead vocalist on a
whim that would change his life forever.
We talk about how a band that covers music by Slayer,
Pantera and has a hard time getting gigs. And about how they are
making a slow transition into original music.
About the creative process and who is doing the behind the
scenes heavy lifting for the album, as well as how they are melding
the different metal styles so that the overall album has something
for everyone.
