What the hell just happened? The local metal community was rocked by a facebook post written by the Metal Grill's owner stating the bar was closing effective immediately with no notice to staff, promoters or bands.
Chuck Madsen and John Hodge join me to chat about several things including speculating about what actually happened, contracts, the Crush Point album release party we were planning for September at the Metal Grill, the effort the owners put in behind the scenes, and how other bars are stepping up to book some of these shows left in limbo.
And then we start talking about ideas bars, bands, podcasts and everyone else can do to help market upcoming events.
